After almost 4 years of marriage and no children, we decided to see a fertility specialist. For 6 months we tried various treatments, to no avail. Finally, in November of 2K6, we underwent a cycle of in vitro fertilization (IVF). We got pregnant, but the embryo's heartbeat stopped at 7 weeks. We decided to try IVF again in April, 2K7. Everything looked better this time around. Emma Christina and Joseph Bedford were born December 9, 2007.

In February of 2011, after talking about using our last frozen embryo next year, we found out we were pregnant with number three! While this wasn't in our plans, we're delighted to have a "free" baby this time (no costly fertility treatments). She is due in early Fall.
