Emma Boo, And The Colon of Convenience

Among Emma's super-powers (neuron-crippling screams, for example) is her ability to poop within thirty, if not ten, minutes of being put to bed. She determined long ago that if she had a legitimate reason to get out of bed, she wouldn't get in trouble. She's tried picking up the room, retrieving toys for JoeJoe, cleaning the walls, etc., but she's found nothing works quite as well as a good old-fashioned poop. For a while, she didn't have it quite down, and would tell Poop-Lies. However, since she learned she'd get in trouble when found out, she's figured out how to poop right after bed-time, no matter if it's 7:30, 8:45, or even 10 PM. You'd think a child with such precise control would be potty trained by now. I think the problem is she doesn't yet see how she would benefit. Until she does, she's not interested...

All I can say is good luck. Jessica says she needs to go potty but doesn't want to sit on the toliet. Now she's finally telling me when she needs she's going yucky. She can feel it but hasn't gotten the concept of going to the potty yet until I put her on there.

This is so hilarious! Of course, I'm sure that we will be facing our own issues with Zoe before too long.
